Старая дача короткометражный игровой фильм, 10 минут, 2005, Россия Документальная фантазия. Летний день 1964 года, подмосковная дача, шалит ребенок, взрослые собираются на речку… Через пасторальные картинки назойливо пробивается звук печатной машинки – на этой даче работает самиздатовская «типография». Вечером, когда очередной номер журнала будет готов, к дому подъедет черная машина… Однако на самом деле сейчас зима. "Пепел и снег" не имеет сюжета, он вязнет во времени, а кадры цвета сепии демонстрируют, как люди оказываются рядом с птицами, животными, рыбами, — и не враждуют, а находятся вместе, словно именно так и должна протекать жизнь. Разные страны и разные лица, но смысл один — человек един с природой, между ними нет противоречия, ты — ее часть, а вокруг друзья. Большинство из тех, на ком были протестированы фотографии, еле справились с нахлынувшими чувствами, а динамика, конечно, передает ощущения гораздо сильнее. "Пепел и снег" лучше всего смотреть ночью, в одиночестве, погрузившись в волну, постепенно переставая ерзать и начиная жить в том ритме, который берет Кольбер, — чувствуя, что ты тоже мог бы оказаться в теплой воде рядом с гигантским китом, плывущим на юг. Интересные факты о фильме: - закадровый текст читает Лоуренс Фишберн - фильм — часть многогранного проекта "Пепел и снег", который длится до сих пор.
